Websites, Stores & Landing Pages

Web Design & Development Built to Convert

WBDI plans, designs, and builds websites that load quickly on a phone, work for visitors with disabilities, and give search engines and AI assistants clean, well-labeled pages to read. Your team gets a site it can edit day to day without a developer, plus the tracking to see which pages bring in leads.

  • Built and checked to WCAG 2.2 AA
  • Core Web Vitals budget per template
  • Domain and analytics in your name

The Building Blocks of a WBDI Website

Most projects combine several of these. Your proposal names the ones that apply, so scope, price, and schedule are settled before design begins.

In short

Web Business Development (WBDI), a Las Vegas web design and development firm, creates business websites, landing pages, and online stores for companies across the U.S. Every build includes custom design, the right platform for your team, WCAG 2.2 AA accessibility testing, Core Web Vitals performance work, and search-ready structure, so the finished site is fast, usable, and simple for search engines to read.

Custom Design

Layouts are planned around your services, your customers' questions, and your brand rather than a theme's demo content. You click through desktop and mobile prototypes and approve them before any code is written, while changes are still quick to make.

Conversion Landing Pages

Focused pages for ad campaigns, promotions, and single services: one message, one offer, one next step. Forms ask only for what you need, key buttons and form submissions are tracked, and the layout is ready for A/B tests.

E-commerce

Shopify, WooCommerce, and headless storefronts with clear product pages, a short checkout, product structured data, and stock levels that stay in step with the systems you already use.

CMS & Platforms

WordPress, Shopify, a headless CMS, or a custom .NET or React application. WBDI matches the platform to how your team publishes, what the site must do, and what you can spend, and puts the trade-offs in writing.

Accessibility (WCAG 2.2 AA)

Contrast, focus states, keyboard paths, form labels, alt text, and captions are planned from the first wireframe, then verified with automated scans and manual screen reader testing before launch.

Performance & Core Web Vitals

Each template gets a budget for the three Core Web Vitals: LCP (loading), INP (responsiveness), and CLS (visual stability). Images are resized and compressed, scripts are trimmed, and fonts load without hiding text.

Online Stores

E-commerce Built Around How People Buy

An online store has two jobs. It has to help shoppers find a product, trust it, and pay without friction, and it has to keep the back-office systems that track stock, orders, and taxes accurate. WBDI builds on Shopify when you want hosted checkout and a large app ecosystem, on WooCommerce when the store belongs inside an existing WordPress site, and on a headless storefront when you need full design control or a catalog with unusual rules.

Product pages ship with Product structured data for price, availability, review ratings, and shipping and return policies where you have them, which makes those pages eligible for product rich results and merchant listings in Google.

Payments run through established processors such as Stripe, PayPal, Square, or Shopify Payments, so card numbers are handled by the processor instead of your server. When inventory lives in an ERP, point-of-sale, or warehouse system, we connect it so stock, prices, and orders sync without manual re-entry.

Choosing a Platform

WordPress, Shopify, Headless, or Custom Code?

No platform wins for every business. Here is a straight comparison of the four options WBDI builds on. Your proposal will recommend one and explain the reasoning.

How WordPress, Shopify, a headless CMS, and a custom .NET or React application compare
Aspect WordPress Shopify Headless CMS Custom .NET or React
Best for Service businesses, publishers, and content-heavy sites that post often Stores that want checkout, payments, and inventory in one hosted system Brands that publish to several channels or need complete front-end control Portals, booking tools, calculators, and logic no template handles well
Editing experience A visual block editor most teams pick up quickly A polished admin for products, orders, and pages Clean structured forms; visual preview depends on the CMS chosen An admin built around your exact content, or a headless CMS attached
Flexibility Very high through themes and plugins, which we keep to a vetted minimum High for commerce; deeper changes go through apps or Shopify's APIs Very high on the front end; features come from connected services No ceiling beyond the budget to build and maintain it
Upkeep Frequent core, theme, and plugin updates plus security monitoring Shopify maintains the platform; apps and theme code still need review Two layers to maintain, the CMS and the front end, usually on managed services Dependency updates, hosting, and monitoring, best covered by a care plan
Ongoing costs Hosting, plus licenses for any premium plugins or themes Monthly plan, payment processing fees, and paid apps CMS subscription unless self-hosted, plus front-end hosting Hosting and maintenance, with no platform subscription

Launch Standards

The Baseline WBDI Checks Before Every Launch

These checks are priced into every website project, from a single landing page to a full online store. On hosted platforms such as Shopify, server-level items like security headers follow what the platform allows.

Speed Budget

Every template is tested on a throttled mobile connection, not just a fast office laptop.

  • Responsive, compressed images in modern formats
  • Lazy loading for media below the fold
  • Few third-party scripts, loaded late
  • Caching and CDN delivery

Accessibility Testing

Automated scans catch the obvious issues. Manual passes catch the ones scanners miss.

  • Keyboard-only navigation
  • Screen reader review of key templates
  • Contrast and visible focus checks
  • Clear form labels and error messages

Search-Ready Structure

Pages are coded so crawlers and answer engines can read them without guesswork.

  • Semantic HTML with one H1 per page
  • Schema.org JSON-LD for your business and pages
  • XML sitemap and a clean robots.txt
  • 301 redirects for every changed URL

Security & Measurement

This is the plumbing that keeps the site safe and shows what it produces.

  • HTTPS on every page, with HSTS
  • A Content Security Policy and other security headers, where the platform allows them
  • Spam-protected forms
  • GA4 key events for form submissions and calls
Redesigns & Migrations

Redesign While Protecting the Traffic You Already Earned

A fresh design can quietly wipe out search visibility when old URLs disappear or pages that rank get trimmed. WBDI runs every redesign as a migration, with a plan for each page that already brings in visitors.

URL Inventory

We crawl the current site, export URL data from Search Console, analytics, and backlink tools, and flag the pages that earn traffic, links, or conversions.

301 Redirect Map

Each old address with a relevant new page gets a permanent (301) redirect straight to it, with no chains. Pages retired without a replacement return a 404 or 410 instead of a blanket redirect to the home page.

Content Parity

Pages that rank keep the substance that earned the ranking: copy, headings, structured data, and internal links, even when the design changes completely.

Search Console Monitoring

After launch we submit the new sitemap, watch for crawl errors and 404s, and compare traffic with the old site's baseline until things settle.

Planning a Redesign or Platform Move?

Send us a link to your current site. WBDI will estimate which pages carry your search traffic, then confirm it with your Search Console data before anything gets rebuilt.

Ask About Your Site
How much does a new business website cost, and how long does it take?

The price and timeline of a WBDI website depend on the number of unique page templates, how much content must be written or migrated, e-commerce and integration needs, and how quickly feedback and approvals come back. After a free review, Web Business Development sends a fixed-scope proposal with a written price and schedule, so both are agreed before any work starts.

Will redesigning our website hurt our Google rankings?

A redesign does not have to hurt rankings when it is run as a migration. WBDI inventories existing URLs, 301-redirects each one that has a relevant new page, keeps the content that earns traffic, and monitors Google Search Console after launch. Some movement while Google recrawls the site is normal, and Google decides rankings, so no agency can promise them, but this process is built to protect the visibility a site has already earned.

Should we build on WordPress or get a custom website?

WordPress is the better fit for most content-driven business sites because it is flexible, widely supported, and easy for staff to edit. A custom .NET or React build makes sense when the site needs logic a CMS handles poorly, such as customer portals, booking rules, or complex integrations. WBDI recommends a platform only after reviewing your content, features, budget, and in-house skills.

Can we update the website ourselves after it launches?

Yes. WBDI sets up each website so your team can edit pages, swap images, and publish posts or update products where the site has them, all without touching code. Web Business Development builds reusable content blocks that keep the design consistent, trains your editors at handoff, and stays available for larger changes or an ongoing care plan if you would rather not handle updates in-house.

Will our new website be ADA compliant?

Web Business Development builds and tests every site to WCAG 2.2 Level AA, the current version of the guidelines courts and settlements typically use as the benchmark, but no vendor can guarantee ADA compliance. For private businesses, neither the ADA nor a federal regulation names a website standard. Before launch, WBDI tests keyboard use, screen reader output, color contrast, forms, and media, and documents the results, which lowers legal risk and serves more customers.

Who owns the website when the project is finished?

Your business does. Once a WBDI project is paid in full, the custom design, code, and content created for you belong to you, your domain and analytics accounts stay in your name, and hosting can run in your own cloud account or on a WBDI-managed plan. Web Business Development keeps its pre-existing tools and templates and licenses them for use in your site, while third-party themes, plugins, fonts, and stock photos stay under their own licenses.
