Managed Cloud Hosting in Las Vegas

Managed Cloud Hosting for Sites That Have to Stay Up

WBDI sets up and runs your website, online store, or web application on Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud, or AWS, with Cloudflare in front when it helps. We look after DNS, certificates, backups, patches, and monitoring, and we report on that work in plain English.

  • Your cloud account or ours
  • Restores tested, not assumed
  • Every migration has a rollback plan

What We Manage

What Managed Hosting Covers

Hosting is more than renting a server. These are the areas WBDI owns day to day, so your site stays reachable, quick, and hard to break into.

In short

Web Business Development provides managed cloud hosting: WBDI provisions the infrastructure on a major cloud platform, places a content delivery network in front of it, manages domains, DNS, and certificates, runs and tests backups, monitors uptime and security, and applies updates. You get a fast, protected site and one team that is accountable when something needs attention.

Right-Sized Cloud Platforms

We choose the right building blocks on AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, from simple app hosting and containers to managed databases and object storage, and size them for your actual traffic instead of a worst-case guess that leaves you paying for idle capacity.

CDN & Edge Caching

A content delivery network serves pages and images from locations near each visitor and absorbs sudden traffic spikes. We configure caching rules, image compression, and automatic cache purges when you publish, typically with Cloudflare or the cloud platform's own CDN.

Domains, DNS, SSL & Email Authentication

We track domain renewals, manage DNS records, and keep certificates renewing automatically. Then we set up SPF, DKIM, and DMARC so mail sent from your domain is less likely to land in spam and much harder for impostors to spoof.

Backups & Disaster Recovery

Backups run on the schedule set for your plan and are stored apart from the live site. We test restores regularly, because a backup nobody has ever restored is only a hope, and we keep a written recovery plan for the worst day.

Monitoring & Incident Response

Uptime checks, error tracking, certificate and domain expiry alerts, and resource monitoring tell us when something drifts. When an incident happens, we restore service first, trace the cause, explain what happened in plain English, and note what will prevent a repeat.

Hardening & Access Control

A web application firewall (WAF) filters hostile traffic, servers and plugins are patched on a regular cycle, every person who signs in to the systems we manage uses multi-factor authentication (MFA), and people and services get only the access they need, a practice called least privilege.

Choosing a Cloud

AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud?

All three are mature and run data centers worldwide, and on any of them security depends mostly on how the account is configured. The better question is which one fits the software, skills, and contracts your business already has.

Amazon Web Services (AWS)

A very wide catalog of managed services and a large ecosystem of tools and specialists. Teams can start simple and add queues, serverless functions, or managed databases as an application grows.

Often a good fit for

  • Custom web apps expected to grow
  • Stores with complex integrations
  • Teams that want many managed options

Microsoft Azure

A natural home for organizations that already run on Microsoft 365 and Entra ID or build with .NET. Sign-ins, licensing, and billing can sit alongside the Microsoft tools your staff use every day.

Often a good fit for

  • .NET and Microsoft-stack applications
  • Companies built on Microsoft 365
  • Projects that need Entra ID single sign-on

Google Cloud

Strong for data and analytics work, containerized apps on Cloud Run or Google Kubernetes Engine, and projects that call Google's Gemini models. A comfortable fit for teams that live in Google Workspace.

Often a good fit for

  • Reporting and analytics with BigQuery
  • Container-based web applications
  • Teams already on Google Workspace

Cloudflare at the Edge

Whichever cloud runs the site, Cloudflare can sit in front of it to provide DNS, global caching, a web application firewall, and DDoS protection, usually with little change to the hosting underneath.

Cloudflare is also where bot rules live, and that matters for AI visibility: an overly aggressive setting can block the crawlers that answer engines use to find and cite your pages. We review those rules with your search and AI goals in mind before anything goes live.

Migration

Low-Downtime Website Migrations

Most migrations stumble on small details: a forgotten mail record, a hard-coded URL, a scheduled job nobody wrote down. WBDI starts every move with a full inventory of the site's files, databases, DNS records, email, integrations, and scheduled tasks, then builds a staging copy on the new platform and tests it before anything public changes.

Ahead of the switch we lower DNS TTL values so the change spreads quickly. The cutover happens in an agreed low-traffic window, followed by verification of pages, forms, checkout, redirects, and analytics. The old environment stays untouched until you sign off, which keeps the rollback plan a quick DNS change rather than a rebuild.

Every Migration Plan Covers

  • Inventory of files, databases, DNS, and email
  • Staging copy built and tested on the new host
  • DNS TTL lowered before the switch
  • Cutover scheduled for a quiet traffic window
  • Checks on forms, checkout, redirects, and analytics
  • Written rollback plan with the old host kept live
  • Search Console and crawl error review after launch
  • Handoff notes on where everything now lives

Who It's For

Hosting Matched to What You Run

A brochure site, a busy store, and an AI assistant need very different setups. WBDI scopes each plan around the workload instead of selling a one-size package.

Lead generation & content

Business Websites

For service companies, practices, and firms whose site has to load quickly, stay secure, and keep form leads arriving. Usually WordPress, a headless CMS, or a lean custom build.

  • CDN and image optimization
  • Core, theme, and plugin updates
  • Form delivery and spam filtering
  • Scheduled backups with test restores

Assistants, automations & pipelines

AI & Data Workloads

For AI assistants, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) search, automation workers, and reporting databases that need private networking, careful secrets handling, and spending controls.

  • Private networks and managed secrets
  • Vector database and storage setup
  • Usage and spend alerts
  • Logs kept for audit and review

Speed & Security

How Hosting Affects Page Speed and Crawling

Every page load starts with a server response, from your host or a CDN edge. A slow or overloaded host delays the first byte, which pushes back Largest Contentful Paint (LCP), one of Google's Core Web Vitals.

Interaction to Next Paint (INP) and Cumulative Layout Shift (CLS) depend more on front-end code, but a tuned host and CDN give that code room to perform.

Crawlers notice too. Google adjusts how much it crawls based on how quickly and reliably a server responds, and AI crawlers that hit errors or timeouts may simply move on. Steady hosting keeps new and updated pages discoverable by Googlebot, Bingbot, and the bots that feed AI answers.

Our Speed and Security Checklist

  • HTTP/2 or HTTP/3 with modern TLS
  • HSTS and automatic certificate renewal
  • Brotli or Gzip compression
  • Page and object caching where safe
  • WebP and AVIF images served from the CDN
  • Server response time watched from several regions
  • Security headers, including a content security policy
  • Web application firewall with bot rules
  • Rate limits on logins and forms
  • MFA on every login we manage, least-privilege roles throughout
  • Encrypted backups stored off the live server
  • Operating system and CMS patches on a set cycle
Hosting Questions

Ask a Hosting Question
Which cloud provider does WBDI recommend?

WBDI recommends a cloud based on the tools, skills, and contracts a business already has rather than a house favorite. Companies built around Microsoft 365 or .NET often fit Microsoft Azure, analytics-heavy projects often suit Google Cloud, and applications expected to grow into many managed services often land on AWS. Plenty of business websites run well on any of the three, so support needs and total cost usually settle the choice.

Should I move my website off shared hosting?

Moving off shared hosting is often worthwhile for a website that brings in leads or sales. Shared hosting puts many unrelated sites on one server, so a neighbor's traffic spike or security problem can slow down or expose yours. Web Business Development moves sites from shared plans to isolated cloud resources with a CDN, monitoring, and proper backups. For a small, low-traffic site, WBDI may recommend tuning the existing plan instead of migrating.

Will my site go down while you migrate it?

Website migrations handled by Web Business Development are planned so visitors notice little or no interruption. A complete copy of the site is built and tested on the new platform first, DNS time-to-live values are lowered before the cutover, and traffic moves during an agreed quiet period. Stores and sites that accept user content may need a short content freeze, and the old environment stays available until the new one is verified.

Who owns the cloud account when WBDI hosts my website?

A website hosted by WBDI can run in a cloud account the business owns or in one WBDI manages. Many businesses keep the AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud account in their own name, pay the provider directly, and give WBDI managed access with its own logins. Others prefer Web Business Development to hold the account and include the infrastructure in a monthly hosting plan. In either case WBDI documents the environment, and the business keeps control of its domain, content, and data.

How often are backups taken, and do you test restores?

Backup frequency is set for each hosting plan, based on how often the site changes and how much recent data the business could afford to lose. Web Business Development stores backups apart from the live environment, keeps multiple restore points, and runs test restores on a regular schedule to confirm that files and databases actually come back. The agreed schedule and retention period are written into the hosting agreement.

Can you host WordPress sites and online stores?

Yes. WBDI hosts WordPress and WooCommerce sites, headless CMS builds, and custom .NET or React applications on managed cloud infrastructure with caching, staging environments, and update management. Shopify runs its own hosting, so for Shopify stores Web Business Development manages what sits around the platform instead: the domain and DNS, page speed, apps, analytics, and integrations.

Do you handle business email and deliverability?

Yes. Web Business Development sets up business email on established platforms such as Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace and publishes the SPF, DKIM, and DMARC records that help inbox providers trust mail from your domain. WBDI also routes website form notifications and transactional messages through a reputable sending service, which makes leads and receipts less likely to end up in spam folders.
