How Our Services Are Organized

In short

Web Business Development, or WBDI, organizes its ten services into four pillars that share one roadmap. Build & Launch creates websites, online stores, and custom software. Get Found covers SEO, answer engine optimization, and the analytics that show what each channel brings in. Host & Protect keeps sites fast, patched, and accessible on managed cloud hosting. Put AI to Work adds AI automation, strategy, and staff training.

Why the pillars belong together

  • Rankings and AI citations start with a fast, sound website
  • Hosting speed and uptime affect visitors and crawlers
  • Structured pages serve answer engines and your AI tools
  • One analytics setup ties every pillar to calls and sales
Pillar 01

Build & Launch

Your website is the one marketing channel you fully own. This pillar designs it, sells through it, and connects it to the software behind your business.

Web Design & Development

Business sites, landing pages, and online stores, built on whatever platform suits how your team edits and sells, from WordPress and Shopify to headless setups and custom .NET or React code. Each launch ships with accessibility testing, a page-speed budget, and clean, crawlable markup.

  • Redesigns with a redirect plan for every URL that earns traffic
  • Shopify and WooCommerce stores
  • Accessibility built to WCAG 2.2 AA
  • Speed targets for Core Web Vitals

Where Business Sites Fall Short

Warning signs

  • Pages that load slowly on phones
  • Text edits that wait on a developer
  • Spam filters that also block real inquiries
  • Staff retyping orders between systems

Custom Software & Integrations

When a template or plugin no longer fits how you operate, WBDI builds the missing piece: a customer portal for documents and invoices, a booking tool tied to staff calendars, an internal dashboard that retires a pile of spreadsheets, or a companion mobile app, delivered in small releases you test on a staging site.

Much of the value sits in the connections. WBDI writes API integrations that link your site to HubSpot or Salesforce, Stripe or Square, QuickBooks, and your ERP, so no one types the same order twice. Aging in-house systems get a staged modernization that moves data and users over in steps rather than one risky switch.

Portals, apps & integrations

What this can include

  • Customer and member portals
  • Online booking and scheduling
  • Internal dashboards and admin tools
  • iOS and Android companion apps
  • HubSpot and Salesforce integrations
  • Stripe and Square payment flows
  • QuickBooks and ERP data sync
  • Staged rebuilds of aging systems

Not Sure Custom Software Is Worth It?

An existing plugin or subscription tool sometimes does the job for less. WBDI will say so before you commit to a build.

Pillar 02

Get Found

Being found now means showing up in Google and Bing results, in map listings, and in AI-written answers. This pillar works on all three and tracks which visits turn into calls, form leads, and sales.

Search Engine Optimization (SEO)

WBDI fixes the technical issues that block crawling and indexing, strengthens the pages behind your most valuable searches, and manages local listings for each location. Priorities come from Google Search Console data and your sales goals.

  • Technical audits built on Search Console data
  • Google Business Profile and local listings
  • Content planned around search intent
  • Earned links, never paid link schemes

Answer Engine Optimization (AEO & GEO)

AI Overviews and AI Mode in Google, along with ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, and Microsoft Copilot, now summarize options before a buyer clicks. WBDI shapes pages around real customer questions, adds structured data, and keeps your business facts consistent. Each platform decides what it cites, so no one can guarantee a mention.

  • Answer-first pages and FAQ sections
  • Schema.org JSON-LD markup
  • AI crawler access and robots.txt review
  • Citation and mention tracking by engine

Why Visibility Stalls

Warning signs

  • You rank for your name, not your services
  • No one controls the Google Business Profile
  • AI assistants describe you wrongly or not at all
  • Listings show conflicting hours or phone numbers

Analytics, Conversion & Digital Marketing

Traffic only matters if you can tie it to revenue. WBDI configures Google Analytics 4 and Google Tag Manager to record calls, forms, bookings, and purchases as key events, adds call tracking where the phone drives sales, and builds a Looker Studio dashboard that puts every channel side by side.

With reliable numbers in place, the work shifts to improving them: conversion rate optimization and A/B tests, campaign landing pages, Google Ads and Microsoft Advertising management, and email marketing automation that follows up with every lead. Attribution reports then help you decide which spending to keep and which to cut.

Tracking and campaign work

  • GA4, Tag Manager, and key events for calls, forms, and sales
  • Call tracking by marketing source
  • Looker Studio dashboards
  • A/B testing and conversion rate optimization
  • Campaign landing pages
  • Google Ads and Microsoft Advertising management
  • Email marketing and lead follow-up automation
  • Marketing attribution reporting
Pillar 03

Host & Protect

Speed, uptime, security, and accessibility shape whether visitors stay, whether everyone can use the site, and whether crawlers can reach it. This pillar manages all four, with monitoring that flags problems early.

Cloud Hosting & Managed Infrastructure

WBDI moves sites and web apps to Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud behind a content delivery network. SSL, DNS, email authentication, patching, and backups are handled for you, and each migration follows a written cutover plan with a rollback path.

  • Moves off shared or unmanaged hosting
  • Cloudflare CDN and edge caching
  • Backups and disaster recovery plans
  • Uptime, error, and security monitoring

Hosting Red Flags

Warning signs

  • No one knows if the backups restore
  • Plugins sit months behind on updates
  • Customers report outages before you notice
  • SSL or domain renewals lapse without warning

After Launch Day

Website Care, Security & Accessibility

A website is software, and software needs upkeep. WBDI care plans test major core, plugin, and theme updates on a staging copy before they go live, apply urgent security patches promptly, run uptime monitoring, scan for malware, filter hostile traffic through a web application firewall, and test-restore backups on a set schedule. SSL renewals, spam protection, and small edits are part of the routine.

Accessibility belongs in that routine too. WBDI audits pages against WCAG 2.2 AA with automated scans plus manual keyboard and screen reader checks, then fixes and retests. No audit can rule out an ADA-related complaint, but removing the barriers such complaints cite lowers the risk. Cookie consent settings stay aligned with your privacy policy.

What ongoing care covers

  • Core, plugin, and theme updates
  • Uptime monitoring with alerts
  • Malware scanning, firewall rules, and response
  • Backups verified by test restores
  • SSL renewals and form spam protection
  • Small content and image edits
  • WCAG 2.2 AA audits and fixes
  • Cookie consent and privacy settings
Pillar 04

Put AI to Work

Useful AI needs a clear job, data it may use, and people who can check its output. This pillar covers the tools, the training, and the strategy and policy behind them.

AI Solutions & Automation

WBDI builds AI assistants grounded in your policies, product details, and past answers, plus automations that move information between the apps you already use. Multi-step tasks can run as AI agents, with a person approving each step that matters.

  • Website chat with handoff to your staff
  • Answers drawn from internal policies and SOPs
  • Zapier, Make, n8n, or Microsoft Power Automate flows
  • Document intake, extraction, and summaries

AI Training & Workshops

Hands-on sessions teach leaders and staff to apply ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, and Microsoft 365 Copilot to the emails, research, reports, and spreadsheets they handle each week. Every session covers which company and customer data can go into which tools, and what must stay out.

  • Leadership briefings on risk and opportunity
  • Role-based workshops for each department
  • Multi-week cohorts and office hours
  • A prompt playbook each attendee keeps

Where AI Adoption Breaks Down

Warning signs

  • Licenses bought, but few people use them
  • Customer data pasted into personal accounts
  • Pilots that never defined success
  • No written rules on tools or data
Start With a Strategy
Before You Build

AI Strategy, Readiness & Governance

Buying AI tools is easy; knowing where they will pay off is harder. WBDI runs an AI opportunity workshop and process mapping to find repetitive work, then checks data readiness: where information lives, how clean it is, and who may see it. From there, WBDI weighs building against buying, compares vendors, and picks a first pilot with success metrics agreed in advance.

Governance runs alongside the plan. WBDI drafts an AI acceptable-use policy that names approved tools and the data staff may share, reviews privacy, intellectual property, and compliance risk with the NIST AI Risk Management Framework as a reference, and supports the change management that turns policy into daily habit.

Service Questions

Choosing the Right Service

Answers for owners and marketing leads weighing one service against another. Anything else, just ask.

Send Your Question
Where should I start if I don't know which service I need?

Start with the free review. Web Business Development (WBDI) examines your website, search rankings, visibility in AI-generated answers, hosting, and analytics, then recommends the changes likely to matter most for your goals. There is no obligation to continue. If you do, you can begin with one pillar, such as a redesign or an SEO program, and add services later.

Can I hire WBDI for just one service?

Yes. Each Web Business Development service can be hired on its own, whether that is an SEO program, a website redesign, managed hosting, or a single AI workshop for your staff. WBDI designs every service to connect with the others, so a service added later builds on the work already done instead of starting over. Nothing is sold only as a bundle.

Can WBDI work alongside our current web developer or marketing agency?

Yes. WBDI can take on one defined part of the work, such as SEO, answer engine optimization, hosting, or an AI automation, while your current developer or agency keeps the rest. Web Business Development writes the split of responsibilities into its proposal so every task has one owner, and it shares findings and change notes with the other team.

Does WBDI work with businesses outside Las Vegas?

Yes. Web Business Development has its office in Las Vegas and works remotely with businesses across the United States. Discovery calls, design reviews, training sessions, and reporting meetings run over video, and staging links let you review work from anywhere. Local SEO covers whatever cities or service areas you target. WBDI office hours are Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM Pacific time.

How does WBDI charge for its services?

Web Business Development charges in two ways. Defined projects, such as a new website or a CRM integration, receive a fixed-scope proposal listing deliverables, milestones, and the total price. Ongoing work, such as SEO, AEO, marketing, hosting, and site care, runs as a monthly program with its scope in writing. WBDI quotes each engagement after the free review instead of publishing a rate card.

Do we keep control of our website and online accounts?

Yes. WBDI sets up domains, Google Analytics 4, Search Console, Google Business Profile, and ad accounts under your company's ownership and works in them through its own user access, which you can revoke whenever you choose. Custom work Web Business Development creates becomes yours on final payment, while its reusable in-house tools stay licensed to you for that site, and third-party plugins keep their own licenses. Cloud hosting can live in an account you hold or one WBDI manages for you.
